House collapse in Delhi's Uttam Nagar kills 1, injures 3

New Delhi:  At least 3 people were dead and 1 critically injured on Monday after a house collapsed in West Delhi's Uttam Nagar area due to heavy rains in early morning hours.
According to reports, the injured person is recieving medical attention.
A year ago, five people were injured and one died after the basement of a building under construction collapsed in New Friends colony in the national capital. 
Delhi police and fire tenders rushed to the spot. The police have also lodged an FIR against the contractor, Bhajan Lal Sharma. A case of negligence has been registered against the owner of the building.
Another building collapsed at an unauthorised colony in South Delhi's Safdarjung Enclave. Fortunately there was no loss of life during that incident.
