New Delhi: A moving car on Tuesday caught fire due to a short circuit in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun.

All the three persons who were in the car were rescued and there were no casualties reported.

In the past few weeks, the state of Uttarakhand has witnessed several episodes of massive cloudbursts, resulting in widespread destruction and stranding pilgrims who were on their way to Kedarnath.

On July 26, one person went missing while another was safely rescued when a bike was swept away in a flooded area in Kotdwar town of Uttarakhand’s Pauri Garhwal district.
