Srinagar: Suspected armed militants reportedly appeared at a public rally held in Kashmir on Wednesday. They asked people to follow the protest programme of the separatist leadership.

The rally was held in Arwani, an area close to Bijbehara town, the native place of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.

One of the militants in his speech also mocked the CM.

He told those gathered not go against the pro-freedom leadership and that whosoever goes against them will be considered as the enemy of ongoing movement.

The militant warned that the CM will have to pay the price of her doings.

He also warned police to mend their ways failing which they would have to face the ramifications.

Earlier, militants had surfaced in Kaimoh area of Kulgam and Kareemabad area of Pulwama during protest rallies.
