Jaipur: Amidst the continuous downpour that has created havoc in many parts of the country, a school bus carrying 50 children on Monday fell into a river in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The school bus belonged to the Acharya Vidhya Sagar School.
The incident happened when the bus was trying to cross a small bridge when a sudden gush of water pushed the bus into the river. The town has been experiencing heavy rainfall in the past two days. Watching this, the locals present in the area went ahead and rescued the children.
A number of states have been affected by monsoon rains this year. Rains have caused flood water from rivers to over flow on roads and have created a heck of a problem for the people to commute.
In another incident caused by incessant rains, one person went missing and four others were rescued on Sunday night after a car fell into an overflowing drain in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh.
