New Delhi: Meeting after a two-day break, the Rajya Sabha on Monday began its proceedings with intense discussions the deteriorating situation inside Kashmir where curfew has been imposed. Albeit the Goods and Services Tax (GST) bill has finally been passed, there are many other issues prickling the need for immediate attention.

AZAD RAKES UP KASHMIR ISSUE
Ghulam Nabi Azad says Kashmir not mere a law and order issue, it’s a political, regional and national issue. Azad also demanded that government should convene an all party meet on the issue.

CPM leader Sitaram Yechury says an all party delegation needs to be sent to J&K and PM needs to respond on the atrocities civilians are facing.
SWAMY RAISES RAM TEMPLE ISSUE
Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy says the Ram temple issue should be settled through court. A day-to-day hearing should take place to expedite the process.
ABDUCTED INDIANS IN LIBYA
PS Bajwa raises issue of Indians kidnapped in Libya. Forty workers were kidnapped two years back, there are no updates about their whereabouts, says Bajwa. Sushma Swaraj had then assured the House that all of them are safe but there has been no word from her side since then.
