New Delhi: The CBI has filed chargesheet against the former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief Madhavan Nair in the Antrix Devas case involving a loss of allegedly Rs 578 crore in an agreement between the multi-media company Devas and Antrix, the commercial arm of (ISRO). 
 
This is one of the biggest scams to have hit the space sector of India due to which the ISRO Chief Madhavan Nair had to resign early than his stipulated time period. 
 
The CBI filed the First Information Report (FIR) in Bengaluru on March 16, 2015, and slapped cases under Sections 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act in the case.
 
The CBI on May 12 had questioned the former chief regarding the same.
