NEW DELHI: Government school teachers and students on Sunday staged protest outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence in the national capital over class IX result.

Students stormed protest against CM Kejriwal outside his residence as 90% students have failed in Delhi government schools.

Kejriwal then invited protesting teachers inside his residence and met them over the issue.

“The All India Parents' Association (AIPA) wrote a letter to Kejriwal informing him that a large number of Class IX students have failed in annual examination this year,” said Outfit’s President Ashok Agarwal.

He further said, “The Delhi government should consider on this issue either promoting these students to Class X or giving them a chance to clear the exams.”
