New Delhi: A bridge in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh collapsed on Thursday following heavy rains and flow of flood water.
A video clip shows a portion of the 44-year-old bridge collapsing and getting swept away by the strong current of water.
Reports said 76 metres of the bridge on 10 pillars were washed away by flood waters.
No casualties have been reported in collapse of the bridge that connected villages in Himachal Pradesh with those in Punjab.
A week ago, a British-built bridge on the Mumbai-Goa highway collapsed leaving more than 20 people dead.
