New Delhi: At least ten people were injured in a grenade blast in Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. According to reports, four out of the ten people are seriously injured and have been shifted to Jammu hospital.
A grenade was thrown in market place in the Poonch city this evening, Divisional Commissioner (Jammu zone) Pawan Kotwal said.
The grenade was hurled by suspected militants on Saturday evening in a market area near Dashnami Akharain.
The entire area has been cordoned off and security has been beefed up in the adjoining areas.
