NewsX with Ashish Singh, Assistant Editor, Defence, NewsX gets the exclusive report from Siachen, world's highest battlefield.
In this show we bring to you the never-before-seen visuals of the Indian posts situated at 20,000 feet.
India captured Siachen glacier on 13 April 1984 and since then it is because of our Indian Army and Indian Air Force at the posts that we are able to sleep well at night and stay safe during the day. These bravehearts live in extreme weather conditions where the temperature goes down to -70 degree Celsius.
NewsX salutes the true spirit of nationality of our soldiers who are at the borders miles away from their families only so that they can protect us.
