Srinagar: Four persons were killed and sixty-four others injured on Tuesday when a mob clashed with security forces in Beerwah tehsil of Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir. 
Police said a mob attacked security forces with stones in Aripanthan village on Tuesday.
"To bring the situation under control security forces opened fire, resulting in the death of a youth and injuries for three others," a senior police officer said.
"The injured have been taken to hospital for treatment. Doctors have described the condition of one of the injured as critical," the officer said.
