JNU student allegedly raped by AISA activist

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a JNU 1st year PhD student on Sunday filed a report with Vasant Kunj Police Station in Delhi against a fellow student for allegedly raping her.

As per sources, the accused, identified as Anmol Ratan, called the victim to his hostel room and deliberately laced her drink and later raped her.

The victim in her complaint had said that Anmol picked her from her hostel to give her the film and took her to Brahamputra hostel where he offered drinks to her and after that raped her.

The victim also alleged that Anmol didn’t allow her to go and threatened her of extreme consequences.

The accused Anmol Ratan is an activist of student organisation AISA of JNU.

The Delhi Police has filed a complaint in the matter and an investigation has been initiated.
