Mumbai: In another startling incident on Monday, a total of  Rs 64,38,960 worth of gold bars was recovered from a woman passenger at Mumbai airport.
 
As per the initial information, the gold bars was recovered from the lady after she was intercepted by the custom officials at the airport. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether any further investigations are being carried out at this point.
 
 
This is the second case of gold being recovered from passengers in the past two days at an airport, A similar incident also took place at Pune airport on Sunday where a total of 1.63 kg gold worth Rs 51.36 lakh was recovered from a passenger. The passenger had arrived from Abu Dhabi, a custom official said.
