11 injured in Pulwama grenade attack

Srinagar: At least eleven police personnel were injured on Wednesday in a grenade attack in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. Reports said suspect militants lobbed a grenade on patrolling troops of 183 Battalion and police.

The Valley has been gripped in panic as a teenager was killed in firing by security forces in the south Kashmir village during Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit.

Police source said Amir Gul Mir was killed after he sustained pellet injuries in a clash between protesters and security forces in Pinglina village of Pulwama.
