Mumbai: Welcoming the Bombay High Court’s verdict on entry of women in Haji Ali Dargah allowing them to enter the sanctum sanctorum, veteran Indian actor and scripwriter Salim Khan took to twitter to hail the decision.

The actor welcomed the verdict saying that it’s the Mullas and Maulavis who have complicated an uncomplicated religion like Islam. He also said that Dargahs are only graves and that both men and women can visit such places.

Expressing his opinion on the same, Salim Khan said that even a Fatwa, which people think to be a verdict, is not actually a verdict but opinion of an Islamic scholar.

Salim Khan compared High Court judgement to what is endorsed by Hadees and Quran which emphasises the need for being a human being to be a good Muslim.

Salim Khan, by voicing his opinion, has tried to clear the misconceptions that people hold about Islam.
