Air India flight grounded at Kochi airport due to technical glitch

Alternative arrangements were being made for the stranded passengers

New Delhi: Air India’s flight AI 963 flying from Kochi to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Saturday was grounded at Kochi International Airport, due to a technical glitch.

According to the airline, all the passengers were transferred to a nearby hotel. It said alternative arrangements were being made for the stranded passengers.

The Air India twitted:

The flight AI 963 to Jeddah was scheduled for departure at 8:00PM from Kochi airport.

Earlier this week, another Air India flight bound for Newark from Mumbai had made an emergency landing in Kazakhstan purportedly after the fire alarm inside the airplane went off.
