New Delhi: As per reports, Nupur Talwar, currently serving her jail term for the murder of her daughter Aarushi Talwar, has been granted parole for three weeks by the Allahabad High Court to visit her mother who is reportedly unwell.

The parents of Arushi, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar were sentenced to life imprisonment after a court in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, held them guilty of murdering their 14-year-old daughter and domestic help Hemraj.

Aarushi was found dead at her Noida based flat on May 16, 2008. It was initially suspected that Hemraj had killed Aarushi. However, the case took a shocking turn when Hemraj’s body was recovered two days later from the terrace of the same flat.

The case was handed over to the CBI, which after five years of investigation held both the parents responsible for the double murder.
