Gurugram: Various areas in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) witnessed heavy traffic jams due to incessant rains on Monday. Gurugram was the worst affected yet again with traffic coming almost to a standstill, stranding commuters for hours.
A month ago, on July 29, the ‘millennium city’ witnessed a similar situation when schools were shut down and highways were choked due to excessive rains leading to waterlogging.
Situation was worse as it took hours for people to cover a distance of a few kilometres.
