The incident occurred around noon on Tuesday when the roof abruptly fell, injuring some students in the process. Fortunately, no one was grievously injured in the incident.
“We could have been injured very badly, and just escaped in the nick of time. At least 10 to 15 students have been injured and needed to be taken to hospital,” said one student who witnessed the incident.
Only last month, the students and the staff inside the college had staged a protest against the college authorities complaining about the grim situation of infrastructures inside the college.
