New Delhi: Amid the recent fluctuation in oil prices globally, the prices of transport fuels i.e. of petrol and diesel have been hiked by Rs 3.38 per litre and Rs 2.67 per litre respectively by state-run Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). 
The announcement comes within two weeks, in contrast to the news on August 16, when petrol and diesel prices went down by Re 1/litre and Rs 2 per litre respectively. 
Petrol will now cost Rs. 63.47/litre and diesel will be available at 52.94/litre in the national capital.
