New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Bhagwant Mann on Thursday targeted the media at a party function in Punjab and said that volunteers should refrain from reading newspapers as they are money-funded publications.
Speaking at Fatehgarh Sahib, the enraged lawmaker who has been in the news for posting live videos from inside the parliament arrived four hours late behind schedule and allegedly misbehaved with media persons covering the event.
When asked about why he had been delayed, an infuriated Mann retaliated and said, "We don't need any media reporting of AAP's functions".
The AAP member then told his supporters in the venue to throw the media persons out of the venue. After his request, several media persons were man-handled out of the event as volunteers tried to snatch their cameras.
Bhagwant Mann attracted a lot of untoward attention earlier when he posted a live video from inside of the parliament, not being wary of the fact that he was exposing the security inside the parliament.
