New Delhi: Hyderabad police tracing the whereabouts of a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) who had went missing on the day he landed in Hyderabad from Kenya had a breakthrough when they discovered the decomposed remains of the missing person.
30-year-old S Gautham Reddy’s body was found badly decomposed in the bushes near a dairy farm in Bowenpally under north zone of the city.
Gautham, a managing director of a private firm at Nairobi in Kenya, was in business since 2010 and had recently married a girl 8 months ago in the country.
Gautham had landed in Hyderabad on August 29 around 3:30 pm following which he went to stay at his brother, S Venkat Reddy’s apartment. But the next day, Gautham’s brother approached the Bowenpally police station and filed a missing complaint of his brother who had gone missing from his residence.
Gautham’s family alleged that the managing director was suffering from depression and they were planning to treat him for it. However, on the day when Gautham told his family he was going for a walk, it would be the last time they would see him.
