New Delhi: A tribal from Neemuch's Ratangarh Village in Madhya Pradesh had to gather garbage, tyres, plastic bags and anything he could manage get hold of to cremate his wife after being turned away by crematoriums.

This episode comes days after a tribal Dana Majhi had to shoulder his dead wife for several kilometers in Odisha.

Jagdeesh Bhil’s family and relatives reportedly spent three hours gathering garbage for cremation.

The Neemuch collector said action was taken against those responsible for the inconvenience to the family and notices have been served on the authorities responsible.
