New Delhi: Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday briefed the Prime Minster Narendra Modi on the two-day visit of an all-party delegation to Kashmir. The Home Minister also apprised the PM of the situation in the state. Rajnath Singh arrived at 7 RCR on Monday at around 11.30 am to meet Narendra Modi.
"Briefed the Prime Minister on All Party Delegation's visit to J&K and also apprised him (about) the situation in the state," Rajnath Singh tweeted later.
The all-party delegation visited Srinagar on September 4 and Jammu on September 5.
As per reports, the members of all-party delegation are likely to meet on Wednesday in New Delhi to discuss their findings and decide the plan of action for the state.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was in Kashmir with the all-party delegation on Sep 4-5, amidst unrest in the state post Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani's encounter.
The parliamentarians met almost 200 people to discuss the concern of the people of Kashmir.
