New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) women’s wing on Thursday staged a protest against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at the New Delhi Railway Station.

The protesters were demanding the Aam Aadmi Party convener to respond to party leaders’ misconduct and its MLA Ashutosh to be expelled from the party.

The women blocked the AAP convener while he was leaving for a trip to Punjab where he would join the campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.

On Wednesday, Ashutosh was summoned by the National Commission for Women (NCW) for defending suspended party leader Sandeep Kumar, who has been embroiled in a scandal over an explicit videotape.

In an online article, Ashutosh wrote public figures such as Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, Atal Behari Vajpayee and George Fernandes had relations with more than one women but this aspect of their life was not held against them.
