Delhi Metro: Man jumps in front of train at Rajiv Chowk metro station

New Delhi: One of the busiest metro stations of Delhi, Rajiv Chowk, came to a halt after a man jumped in front of a train at the station. The incident took place on the yellow line metro, going towards Jahangir Puri from Rajiv Chowk.
 
The man has been identified as Amit Talwar, aged 34. 
 
As per reports, the man, who took the extreme step of committing suicide, died on the spot. He was declared brought dead by the hospital authorities. 
 
For now, the metro services are halted and the officials are trying to restart the services at the earliest.
