New Delhi: Additional District Magistrates of Nawada district, Bihar has been arrested on Thursday for allegedly taking Rs 4 lakhs bribe, said the state Vigilance department.
The vigilance officials said three liquor bottles were also recovered from his residence.
According to reports, a resident of Hisua village had lodged a complaint with the investigation bureau that ADM was demanding a bribe of Rs 5 lakh for favouring him in a mutation dispute case.
The ADM was reportedly caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 4 lakh at his official residence in Nawada. He would be produced before the Special Vigilance Court (I) at Patna after interrogation.
