Azamgarh: Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, who concluded the first leg of his six-day 'Deoria to Delhi Kisan Yatra’ in Ghazipur district on Monday said PM takes selfies, makes merry, we have to put a leash on this.
"Modi selfie leta hai, masti karta hai, iski masti kam karna hai (Modi takes selfie, make merry; we have to put a leash on this)," said Rahul Gandhi at a 'khaat' sabha in Ghazipur district.
Addressing the farmers in Ghazipur, the Congress Vice-President said he is looking for the man who received Rs 15 lakh from Modi.
Calling PM Modi anti-poor, Rahul Gandhi said, "The PM goes to America, takes selfies with his friend Obama and without returning to India, goes to China and Japan. He never takes a selfie with farmers.”
The Congress scion also targeted the BSP chief Mayawati and UP chief minister Akhilesh yadav.
He said, "Haathi sab kuchh kha gaya. Aapne cycle laya, woh puncture ho gaya. Haath lao aur dekho hum kya karte hain (the elephant (BSP) consumed everything, you brought bicycles (SP) but it got punctured. Bring hand (Congress) and see what we do).”
Rahul Gandhi will take two-day break and will resume his yatra after Bakrid.
