New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing fever crisis in Delhi, a haunting picture of a patient lying outside a toilet at Safdarjung Hospital has emerged that speaks volumes about the deadly health situation in the capital.
The picture taken by a photographer of The Indian Express shows a man lying on the floor near the toilet. The man had allegedly collapsed unattended as doctors seemed more interested in enquiring about his relatives than treating him. He was later put on a stretcher and taken for treatment.
The incident says a lot about the state's health machinery and Chief Minister Kejriwal's boastful claims as at least 30 people have died due to chikungunya and dengue in the capital so far.
