Lucknow: After the high drama within the Samajwadi Party for a couple of days, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav came to the forefront to resolve the issue between son and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and brother Shivpal Singh Yadav.
While addressing party workers on Friday Mulayam Singh said, "It is election time, we should all come together and work. There is no fight between Ram Gopal Yadav, Akhilesh and Shivpal." Mulayam Singh also added that "there can
be no rift between Shivpal and Akhilesh till I am here".
Mulayam Singh Yadav has also reinstated minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati and reversed son and UP CM Akhilesh Yadav's decision. This is was one of the major reasons for rift between Akhilesh and Shivpal. Mulayam Singh also said
that CM Akhilesh Yadav cannot defy his decision.
Mulayam Singh Yadav also said that Akhilesh will go meet Shivpal at his residence.
Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has accepted Mulayam Singh Yadav's decision and also said "if Netaji wants to reinstate minister, I accept".
However, Mulayam Singh Yadav has not made any clear indication about Shivpal Yadav's future in the party. He did not mention anything about Shivpal getting his portfolios back or as the state president. Mulayam Singh has also refused to accept Shivpal's resignation.
