New Delhi: Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rendezvous with his mother on his 66th birthday on Saturday, the environment in the country was abuzz with a talk entirely undiplomatic: Modi's birthday cake.
Surat-based bakery called Atul Bakery announced before the Prime Minister's birthday that they were aiming for the Guinness World Record for the tallest pyramid cake in the world. The bakery has collaborated with an NGO called Shakti Foundation, which works to empower women in rural and urban areas.

Weighing an astounding 3750 kg, the cake is 7 feet in height and is of a pyramid shape. Thirty chefs have participated in preparing the cake. The preparation of the cake started from 15th of September and was finished in three day.
