New Delhi: As per the inputs generated by the Defence Intelligence Agency, a terror alert has been issued for all air force stations and air bases in the country, especially in North India.
The input which was generated by the Defence Intelligence Agency was shared with the Multi Agency Centre (MAC) earlier this week following which it was disseminated to the other concerned states.
As per a security official, "The alert is very general in nature but security measures have been enhanced."
A terror alert was reportedly issued mostly focusing the North Indian air force stations, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand in particular. Following the alert the security has been tightened at all the air force stations in the nation.
Later the visuals of police conducting checks near Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport also surfaced.
