MLC Arvind Pratap Yadav, who is the nephew of Ram Gopal Yadav, has been expelled for his alleged involvement in illegal activities.

"Arvind has been expelled for making derogatory and indecent comments against party supremo Mulayam and his involvement in anti-party activities," S R S Yadav, SP state secretary, said.

In an address to party worker, Shivpal exclaimed that the elections were near and that everyone should strengthen the party to form a majority government.
