New Delhi: A day after one of the worst terror attack on Indian army base that killed 20 army personnel, the Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi will be visiting Srinagar on Monday to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir. He will be meeting top police and civil officials under the state government.
On Sunday, terrorists of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) outfit attacked an army camp near a brigade headquarters here in Jammu and Kashmir. It was seen as the worst attack on any military base in the state in a decade.

The Indian establishment blamed Pakistan for the attack and said that Islamabad should be isolated.
Soon after the terror attack, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar visited Srinagar and was briefed by the army about the ground situation. According to reports, Parrikar gave army a 3-point target to react against the ones who were responsible for the attack,
It is also expected that Defence Minister will also brief Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the breaking developments post the Uri attack.
