New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was attacked with ink on Monday outside the residence of the Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung.

The minister was briefing the press outside the LG’s office when someone abruptly threw ink on him. Sisodia was at LG’s residence concerning his recent scuffle pertaining to the Finland visit.

The ink-attacker, named Brajesh Shukla, when asked about why he had thrown ink on the minister, said, “He is going abroad on our money and people of Delhi are suffering.”

Minister Manish Sisodia was critically censured for his visit to Finland while the national capital reeled under health crisis due to chikungunya and dengue.
