New Delhi: Widely celebrated Indian comedian Kapil Sharma who is in troubled waters over his allegations of bribery against the BMC may soon join the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

With Navjot Singh Sidhu clearing out speculations about whether he will be putting his own political flag in Punjab, Kapil Sharma is going to campaign for Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP who are furiously introducing miniscule perks to woo people of the state.

It is also evident from the way how Kapil Sharma took to Twitter to voice his agitation over bribery in BMC. The comedian even tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet and criticised his 'Acche din' political slogan.

No official confirmation has come from the AAP's side. But it is clear that Kapil Sharma will be campaigning for AAP in Punjab.

FIR has been filed against Kapil Sharma for destroying mangroves.

Kapil sharmas days are gone. He is unnecessarily ruining his career by joining politics. He was adorned by millions of people in India and abroad but after his tweets to PM has brought down his popularity. It is better he should compromise with BMC and stay happy.
