'I will respond to Muslims in all conditions'

NEW DELHI:  Be it a political publicity stunt, or anything else, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has surely won several Muslim hearts in India with his recent statement where he reportedly said that he will respond to Muslims in every condition. Well, the statement given by PM Modi must have come as a blow to its parent organization, RSS or other Hindu nationalist groups.

Modi’s remark that he will be available even at midnight to address the concerns raised by Muslims appears to develop as a big booster for Muslims as the largest minority group in the country has suffered real tough time ever since the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken over the power as the Central government.

Several issues such as Ghar Wapsi, Love Jihad, and other episodes of communal clashes have erupted and troubled them in past few months.

According to the reports, Narendra Modi has told a delegation of Muslim leaders that he will available for them even at the midnight if there is any concern.

Modi reportedly said that he does not believe in politics that split people on communal lines while discussing the social, educational and economic concerns related to Muslims with the 30-member delegation led by Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, Chief Imam of the All India Imam Organization that called on him on the occasion of Shab-e-Baraat on Tuesday.

“Prime Minister told me that his doors would be open to us even at 12 in the night to discuss any issues and concerns of the Muslims. He said, ‘I give you my word, I will respond if you knock on my door at midnight,” Ilyasi told a newspaper.

‘Politics of majority and minority had caused a lot of a damage’, Modi said in a statement issued by PMO.

Explaining that employment and development is the key solution to all the issues, Modi assured of being focused on delivering them.
