Post all-party meeting ministers congratulate the Indian Army for a successful surgical strike

New Delhi:The all party meet that took place in the North Block of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Thursday evening ended with all the members supporting the Indian Army’s initiative. The meeting was headed by Home Minister Rajnath Singh. The meet followed the surgical attack that was conducted along the Line of Control (LoC) in the wee hours of Thursday, 29 September from 12:30 to 4:30AM. 
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and NSA Ajit Doval were all present at the meet. The meeting was also attended by BJP Chief Amit Shah, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury, JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav, Union Minister and LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan and NCP leader Sharad Pawar along with Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu, BSP's Satish Mishra and RJD's Prem Chand Gupta. Principal Secretary to PM Nripendra Singh was also present.

Before the all-party meeting began, EAM Sushma Swaraj gave a briefing to Congress President Sonia Gandhi on the surgical attack that took place at the LoC.
