PMO to conduct Cabinet Committee on Security meet everyday

New Delhi: Owing to the current security scenario after India conducted surgical strikes at the Line of Control (LoC), the Prime Minister's office has decided to conduct Cabinet Committee on Security meeting everyday till Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in the country.

PM Modi will take stock of situation and preparedness of the Indian Army if Pakistan decides to retaliate in response to the surgical strikes conducted by India.
The Indian Army on September 29 conducted surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) inflicting significant damage to the terrorist infrastructure across the border. The army attacked around five terror launch pads and killed more than 3  terrorists.
Supporting India's action to protect itself from insurgency and terrorists’ infiltration, Bangladesh said, "India has got all legal, internationally accepted right to make a response to any attack on her sovereignty and her soil."
Following the attack, political leaders across party line and citizens of the country welcomes government's decision and lauded the Indian Army for conducting the surgical strike.
