New Delhi: ‘Mysore Dasara 2016’, the 10 day long traditional festival dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari begins on Sunday, October 2.

The Mysore Dasara procession will be followed by Jamboo Savari, a traditional Dasara procession and Torch light parade at grounds at Bannimantap.
 
Mysore Dasara is the State Festival of the State of Karnataka, called as ‘Navaratri’ meaning Nine-Nights, a 10-day festival celebrated with utmost spectacle and joy in the city of Mysore. The Dasara festivities have a rich history of more than 400 years.
