Hamid Ansari lauds PM Modi

New Delhi: While addressing the media in the national capital on Saturday, October 1, the Vice President of India, Hamid Ansari, lauded the surgical strike taken out by the Indian Special Forces to put a halt to the the rising terror activities across the LoC.

Appreciating the current government's ruling, VP Hamid Ansari, told media that PM Narendra Modi had already said in the beginning, "We will do it, and do it in the time and method of our choosing", "How you do that is something left to the judgement of the Govt and the professionals in charge of this", he added.

While condemning the terrorists attacks by Pakistan, the Vice President of India said, "You see, you can't be the recipient of terrorist attacks all the time and do nothing about it."

The Vice President said, "Govt has stated very clearly why action was necessary, (terror) launch pads were identified & taken care of."

Just 11 days after 19 Indian soldiers were martyred in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri area, Indian Special Forces (ISF) targeted eight terror launch pads positioned across the LoC, killing around 50 terrorists and causing significant casualties to their hideouts.
