New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tribute to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 147th birth anniversary at Raj Ghat, Delhi.
Apart from PM Modi, former PM Manmohan Singh, Vice President Hamid Ansari, Union Minister Venkaiah Nadu, BJP’s Lal Krishna Advani, Congress’s Ghulam Nabi Azad along with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia also payed tribute to the ‘Father of the Nation’.
PM Modi on early sunday took it to Twitter and expressed his vews about Mahatma Gandhi. He wrote, “Gandhi Ji made this world a better place. His ideals, dedication to the poor and struggle against injustice inspire.”

Later in the day, the Prime Minister is also expted to inaugurate Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra in Delhi.
