New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday called a cabinet meeting on October 4.

The session would be the first cabinet meet after the expansion for the eighth time since he assumed office in March 2012.

In September, 10 new ministers were sworn-in at Raj Bhavan by state Governor Ram Naik. The ministers include Gayatri Prasad Prajapati, Manoj Pandey and Shivakant Ojha, who were all sacked by the CM earlier.

Out of the 10, seven were granted cabinet rank and three were accorded ministers of state.

After the expansion carried out on Monday, the state government now has 32 cabinet ministers, nine ministers of state with independent charge and 19 MoS.
