New Delhi: Salman Khan has been at the receiving end of criticism and hard censure after the actor said that Pakistani actors should not be targeted for Indo-Pak situation. However, one unlikely supporter of the king of the box office has emerged as Yogi Adityanath.

Speaking on the issue, BJP MP from Gorakhpur and chief priest of Goraknath temple Yogi Adityanath said that the fight against terrorism should not include art and culture.

We are not against art and culture, we are against terrorism. We fight against terrorism not against artistes or art and culture," said the MP while speaking at a function in Gorakhpur railway station.

Salman Khan faced public ire after he slammed the decision taken by the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association by saying that Pakistani actors were artists and not terrorists.

Shiv Sena chief Raj Thackeray said after Salman's comment that the actor's movies should be boycotted.
