Stones were thrown at Indian side during beating retreat at Wagah Border.

New Delhi: In an unprecedented incident, crowds from Pakistani side threw rocks at Indian side during the beating retreat ceremony on Sunday at Punjab's famous Attari-Wagah border.

According to a report by TOI, Pakistani civilians, who had arrived to witness the ceremony, at Wagah border hurled stones towards Indian viewer's galleries while shouting pro Kashmir slogans.

The Border Security Force (BSF) has asked for a flag meeting with their Pakistani counterparts over this issue but so far no response has come from them yet.

"They have assured us to investigate into the incident, but we don't believe they will really investigate , we are of view that Pak Rangers themselves instigated the viewers to throw stones toward India , years ago rockets were fired on our side and Pak Rangers had out rightly rejected that they had originated from their soil" said told TOI.

This comes days after India conducted surgical strikes that killed at least 38 terrorists across the Line of Control in Pakistan.
