India has asserted that it will retaliate again if provoked next time

New Delhi: With Pakistan still denying the truth of the surgical strikes carried out by India across the Line of Control (LoC), a top official in the Indian government said that India is unperturbed by Pakistan's denial as the narration suits the country.

Talking to the Indian Express, the top official said, "The surprise element in such an operation is key to its success and there will be no predictable repetition. If provoked yet again, we will amend our operational tactics. And for the time being, the continuing denial of Pakistan that there were no surgical strikes is a stance that suits us.”

The surgical strikes carried out by India is said to have resulted in the elimination of more than 45 JeM terrorists across the border. “The ferocity of the attack was such and the surprise element so complete that it was unlikely, many militants would have survived. The fact is that there was no retaliation whatsoever and the only setback to the operation was a mine-blast injury suffered by one commando," said one official.

India has asserted that albeit Pakistan's narration is not a concern for the country, it will retaliate again if provoked next time. The surgical strikes were precision attack launched by the Indian Army which destructed 8 terror launch pads.
