New Delhi: Veteran Indian actor Nana Patekar's video slamming the scuffle over Pakistani actors has gone viral on social media. As Salman Khan faces criticism for saying that Pakistani actors are not terrorists, Patekar exclaimed that the country came above everything else.
The initial threat had come with the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena who had threatened to beat Pakistani actors if they did not leave the country. Actors and directors who supported the Pakistani actors were critically censured.
“Pakistani actors and others come later, first comes my country. I don’t know anyone other than my country and would never like to know. Actors are like bed bugs in front of the country, we don’t have any worth," Nana Patekar can be seen saying in the video.

“No hero can be better than the soldiers. We actors are just common people, the real heroes are our soldiers. Don’t pay attention to what we say, don’t give this much importance to anyone. And those who keep on speaking, they don’t deserve that much importance," he adds.
Many have come out to support and applaud the actor's comment.
Pakistani actors have been facing public ire after the Uri attack where 18 Indian soldiers were martyred.
