Leh: Around 40 delegations from Ladakh met Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday and demanded Union Territory status for Ladakh.
“Today, not only the representatives of all political parties, but many religious, social and cultural organisations’ delegations also met me. All of them unanimously demanded that Ladakh should be given the U.T. status,” the Home Minister said after the meeting.
Singh assured the representatives that their demands will be looked into and both state and Centre govt will try to find solution of their problems.
This is Rajnath’s fourth visit to J&K in the recent times.
