New Delhi: Taking on the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam, who raised questions on the recently conducted surgical strikes by the Indian Army across the Line of Control (LoC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Rameshwar Sharma raked another controversy by commenting on Kejriwal and Nirupam’s parents’ wedding night.
Rameshwar Sharma, a BJP MLA said, “People questioning jawans are the kind who will only believe their lineage after watching video of their parent’s wedding night.”
“I think people who are questioning surgical strikes, they are discouraging, disrespecting and distrusting Indian army.”
“Jo Indian Army pe avishwas kar rahe hain,wo Pak ke agent ban kar bol rahe hain. Kya wo kabhi ap ne maa-baap pe sandeh vyakt karengey?” Rameshwar Sharma added.
Post the surgical strikes conducted by Indian Army across the LoC, Pakistan as always has denied and said that no such strikes were conducted by India. Thereafter, Indian political leaders across party lines, especially AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal, Congress’ P Chidambaram and Sanjay Nirupam questioned the government and asked for proofs of the surgical strikes.
