New Delhi: A 15-year-old victim of rape has once again been exposed to the pain inflicted upon her by the horrific incident. This time it has come upon her due to her rapist being out on bail.

Raj Ballabh Prasad Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA from Nawada, was accused of raping the class 10 schoolgirl at his Bihar Sharif residence in February.

Soon after the arrest warrant issued against the MLA, he was suspended from the party. Yadav’s bail petitions were repeatedly rejected by a lower court in Bihar. It is only after he moved the High Court that he got bail on September 30.

However, Bihar government has challenged Yadav’s bail plea in the Supreme Court, the hearing of which will take place on October 7.

On the other hand, the victim is absolutely terrified after knowing that her rapist is out on bail. She has sent a message to journalists and others expecting the message to reach Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in which she has stated that she almost died after what happened with her and has nothing to lose but is scared for her family. She also said that the politician can kill her and her family anytime as he is influential and powerful.
